Weekly Bulletin: Friday 11th July 2025
Dear Parents, Carers & Families,
Today, in assembly, we announced the results of last week’s sports’ events. The results were as follows:
House Captains shook hands and congratulated one another for their achievements. The winning team, House Invicta, were then led by the House Captain in a procession around the school so that all could applaud them for their team effort. Well done to all of our pupils for taking part in our sports day events. You have all made us very proud with your ability to support one another and be part of a team. You truly encapsulate our values!
Today, many of our year 6 pupils return from an adventurous week of fun in Sussex. We have been informed that they were a credit to the school. It has also been wonderful to see our remaining year 6 pupils working together so well. We have been very impressed with the treasure hunts, clues and maps that they have created for one another. There have been some really challenging puzzles and riddles that had to be solved in order to track down the treasure. Well done Year 6!
Year 6 Residential to Windmill Hill
Week on week, we will continue to share the learning experiences of other year groups.
Good luck to our choir and the team who are participating in this weekend’s Northfleet Carnival! Please the information below if you are thinking of attending and / or want to know more.
We are in the process of reviewing the school’s policies regarding Primary aged students’ mobile phone use. We are looking to seek your thoughts. Please click HERE and share your views.
Best wishes,
Angela Carpenter

Attendance
The foundations of learning are laid in the Primary years of schooling and so Whitehill Primary School is committed to making sure that our children do not miss out on the education and care that we offer. Regular attendance is critical if our pupils are to be happy, successful and benefit from the opportunities presented to them now and in the future.
Good attendance is fundamental to a successful and fulfilling school experience. We actively promote 100% attendance for all our pupils and we use a variety of rewards and incentives to promote good attendance and punctuality. Awards are group focused rather than given to individuals as we recognise that our students cannot help being absent for medical reasons.
This week, the class with the best attendance is Pistachio Class. Well done Pistachio Class! Keep up the good work!
