Weekly Bulletin: Friday 17th October 2025
Dear Parents, Carers & Families,
This term has ended with some real pizzazz and style. It was great to see so many of our students dressed to support 'Crazy Hair Day.' They looked simply stunning. Their unique and creative hairdos made everyone smile. It was an enjoyable and memorable way to raise money for the school. Thank you for your support with this and thank you to the Parent Teacher Association for organising this fun event!
Crazy but Absolutely Fab Hairdos
The Parent Teacher Association have kindly bought all of the children a little something for the holidays. Each student was gifted a novelty pencil. Thank you again to those in the Parent Teacher Association and to those who have supported their fund raising events. It is all of you who make such generous acts possible!
Year 5 had the opportunity to visit the Science Museum. Whilst there, they were able to learn about early science exploration and travel into space. We have enjoyed listening to your accounts of what you learnt. We were especially pleased to hear of your superb behaviour as you walked around the exhibits - Well done!
Year 5 Learning About Space
As you know, this year for Harvest Festival, we are collecting donations for the school foodbank. Thank you so much to all who have donated. Your generosity makes a huge difference to our community! If you still want to donate, there is still time.
Wishing everybody a safe and restful two week break! We look forward to seeing everyone back in school on Monday 3rd November!
Best wishes,

Attendance
The foundations of learning are laid in the Primary years of schooling and so Whitehill Primary School is committed to making sure that our children do not miss out on the education and care that we offer. Regular attendance is critical if our pupils are to be happy, successful and benefit from the opportunities presented to them now and in the future.
Good attendance is fundamental to a successful and fulfilling school experience. We actively promote 100% attendance for all our pupils and we use a variety of rewards and incentives to promote good attendance and punctuality. Awards are group focused rather than given to individuals as we recognise that our students cannot help being absent for medical reasons.
