Whitehill Primary School & Nursery

The Decus Educational Trust

Weekly Bulletin: Friday 28th November 2025

Dear Parents, Carers & Families,

Year 2 have been thinking about looking after the environment and this week, I was pleased to hear about what they had been learning. The children have made some posters to promote keeping the school litter free. Well done Year 2! It is great to see how passionate you all are about looking after the school.

Litter Posters

In assembly today, we have been sharing and celebrating students who consistently embody our school values. It was marvelous to hear how our pupils have embraced working harmoniously together, taken initiative, shown autonomy and determination when learning. The teachers proudly shared stories where the students had nobly put others' needs first. We are always so very glad that our students feel empowered to be who they are and value each others' unique spirit. Well done!

Our School Value Champions

cross the school, children have dazzled us with their creativity. We were so in awe of their Trust Christmas Card Competition designs that we wanted to share a selection of their amazing work with you. Well done to everyone who entered! We will keep you posted on the final winners.

A Selection of Aletheia Academy Trust Christmas Card Competition Entries

We are very excited at the prospect of the forthcoming Christmas Fayre. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who get actively involved in supporting the PTA and also those who take the time to come along and support such events. If you are interested in helping out, it is not too late to volunteer. Santa will be visiting Whitehill which is very exciting. Please see below:

 Attendance

Good attendance is fundamental to a successful and fulfilling school experience. We actively promote 100% attendance for all our pupils and we use a variety of rewards and incentives to promote good attendance and punctuality. Awards are group focused rather than given to individuals as we recognise that our students cannot help being absent for medical reasons.
